163 years old photo of Mahalakshmi temple at Mumbai was taken in 1855 AD. It was built by the contractor of Hornby Vellard Ramji Shivji Pathare Prabhu around 1785 AD. Pathare Prabhu are one of oldest settlers of Mumbai migrated from Saurashtra of Gujarat during the 13th century.
