INDIA: GOLD CANNON, 1875. /nGold-clad cannon, commissioned by Maharaja Sayajirao Gaekwad III, for the 1875 visit of the Prince of Wales to Baroda, India. The cannon was regarded as sacred, and receieved daily offerings from priests.
