man the gross oversight in Mumbai is humongous. Babus routinely transfers huge govt plots reserved for schools, gardens, and utilities while the media, opposition, and civil society turn a blind eye. These questions never come for political debates.

I know of atleast 3 TMC schools in #Thane shut of which
1- they closed 6yrs ago & handed to #Akshaypatra converted into their Pvt. food processing unit. I still don’t get how they can shut a
School like that and handover to a Pvt. Foundation “NGO”

When ppl round the world are investing in education here the capital of major state in India wants to divert a school land for profit. If misplaced priorities had a face this would be it.
Similar land grab done in Goregaon east where a plot reserved for a Major hospital for more than 2 decades was ultimately used to build a residential complex by a private builder..
Someone gave this idea about JNU, situated on prime land. They need cheap labour not educated citizens.
Who’s most corrupt? BMC or MHADA,earlier builders used to keep 1 flat for BMC employee for approvals & recently having caught 13 MHADA officials,didn’t claim 20% or so flats from its layouts in the state.
