Force India F1 Team Livery Launch,early 21st century !

Force India have unveiled their 2008 challenger in a ceremony held in Mumbai.

Budget of $120 million earmarked for 2008 campaign

Force India have unveiled their 2008 challenger in a ceremony held in Mumbai. With drivers Giancarlo Fisichella, Adrian Sutil and reserve Vitantonio Liuzzi on hand, the car bore the team's new white and gold livery, with Vijay Mallya's Kingfisher logo prominently displayed. The car is the same as that used in the latter part of the 2007 season but has been monikered the VJM01 after the team's new owner. The Indian billionaire oversaw the purchase of the now defunct Spyker outfit last autumn and has earmarked a $120 million budget for the coming season. At the launch Mallya said: "I am delighted to present before you the livery of the brand new car that will compete in the 2008 FIA Formula One World Championship. "Today is a memorable day not only for me as the owner of India's first-ever Formula One team, but also for millions of Indians who can today watch India occupy a place of pride as Force India becomes the first and only Indian Formula One racing team to compete with the best in the world, at the pinnacle of motorsport. "The Force India Formula One Team is one of the only eleven elite teams guaranteed an entry into the FIA Formula One World Championship Races." The VJM01 is scheduled to make its track debut later in February.
