The Last of the Seven Bungalows
How did Seven Bungalows get its name?
You can take a guess, the name gives it a way doesn't it just as it suggest there were Seven Bungalows located here among the mangroves and trees, a place one with nature with the beach at the doorstep.
The area at that time had no buses coming to it, it was a small dainty little place. But today its got its own set of fine dining restaurants, the G7 Mall built, a bus depot and in the future the Reliance Metro will run through it.
What happened to these seven bungalows? Six of the seven bungalows have been sold off to make way for buildings, but yet one of them still stands stall and a family business runs from its ground flow, Nazneen Bakery.
Nazneen Bakery turns out fresh bread, delicious coconut and walnut cakes as well as some yummy Coconut Cookies and Nankaties. Well I probably do a post on that later, but till then take a look at the Seventh Bungalow, the last of the Seven Bungalows.

The Story of The Yoga Institute AT DADA BHAI'S BUNGALOW AT SEVENBUNGALOWS,ANDHERI WEST ,MUMBAI 61
R.
P. Masani stumbled upon some of Yogendraji’s translations of Gitanjali
by Rabindranath Tagore, and he invited Yogendraji to his place in
Versova. There Yogendraji met Homi Dadina, son-in-law of Dadabhai

a few others started learning Yoga at theVersova Beach.
And
with this, on Christmas Day, 25th December, 1918, the Yoga Institute

A GARDEN NEAR TO HIS BUNGALOW ,ALSO CALLED DADABHAI NAWROJI GARDEN -ALSO KNOWN AS THE ROUND GARDEN OF 7 BUNGALOWS (NOT NANA NANI PARK) IS IN BAD SHAPE NOW ;

MEANWHILE THE GARDEN WAS GIVEN TO A BUILDER FOR UPKEEP BY THE B.M.C. SINCE LAST 6YEARS ;ON CONDITION THE BUILDER CAN USE 20% OF THE GARDEN FOR COMMERCIAL USE ,
