BEST completes 150 yrs of service in Mumbai today

 



Horse Tram service in Mumbai was started with 20 trams & 200 horses. On 1st day, it carried 451 passengers & earned Rs. 85


1874: This day 150 yrs ago, the 1st horse drawn tram was started in Mumbai which ran from Colaba to Pydhoni via Crawford Market
